Shinrin Yoku or Forest Bathing is used extensively in the Japanese wellness system. Research shows that time in nature helps reduce stress, anxiety, overwhelm and will increase focus, creativity, and overall wellness. This gentle model is ideal for all types of people and abilities.
ABOUT YOUR GUIDE:
Ronna Schneberger is an award winning master interpreter, naturalist, and hiking guide in the mountain parks for over 25 years. In the last decade she incorporated yoga, meditation, and personal reflection in nature. The results were profound. She is one of the first Forest Therapy Guides and trainers in Canada, teaching the famous Shinrin Yoku or Forest Bathing process.
Today, Ronna is faculty with Leadership Development at the Banff Centre where she works with leaders, professionals and executives from all over the world using nature as the teacher to create powerful reflections and transformation. Ronna’s unique nature programs use proven techniques to help people reset their mind and nervous system so they can reclaim calm and clarity.
